The team’s diverse background – with international roots in Tanzania, Zanzibar, Canada, and India – brings a unique blend of local authenticity and global luxury standards to Sandbank Villas.
Nadir Contractor, one of the co-founders, began his career in the Indian subcontinent and played a crucial role in the pre-opening of two W Hotels, including the iconic W Dubai – The Palm. With over three years of management experience on Zanzibar Island, Nadir has been instrumental in launching two luxury properties on the island, always with a focus on community empowerment and exceptional service.
Madison Artymko, another co-founder, brings a wealth of marketing experience to the table. Her deep understanding of social media and millennial engagement strategies ensures that the properties she manages reach the right audiences. Madison’s connections with content creators and influencers provide significant visibility, driving bookings and increasing the overall success of the properties.
Their international expertise is complemented by co-founder Roman Mwanabuta, a native of Zanzibar, who brings extensive local knowledge and a strong reputation from his work with luxury hotels and standalone restaurants including the likes of (Formerly “Lux”), Upendo Beach, Doubletree by Hilton, Vera Club also Safira and Ycona. Roman excels in managing high-value clients, ensuring that their expectations are always met if not exceeded.
